My DVR cut out at the very end and it's not on again. What happened after Emma walked out into the rain with Dean? I assume it was just a boring set of "I love you"s.
Despite the terrible acting and sometimes painful suspension of disbelief, it was a cute story. They could have made the ending so much better rather than the typical oh-we're-back-to-reality-now-screw-you-oh-wait-I-changed-my-mind.
You didn't miss much-that basically was the end,Emma and Dean kissing and slow dancing in the rain.And I agree with you about the ending,I almost get the impression that the writers didn't know exactly how to end the movie,so they went for something simple!!

Dean: "Oh, I got you something" [he puts a corsage on her wrist, similar to but smaller than the orchid he put in her hair on the island]
Emma:"Thank you"
Dean:"Wanta dance prom queen?"
Emma:"I’m not the prom queen. I never was, never wanted to be. I’m just a girl."
Dean:[laughs] "Wanna dance, girl?"
Emma:(points up at the sky)[chuckles]" It’s kind of pouring."
Dean:"We’ve been through worse."
Emma:"Yeah" (shakes her head yes, then steps in and kisses him, then they hold each other close and slow dance in the rain as camera zooms out from above)

I liked when she said plans are overrated. It was nice because it showed she had loosened up a bit from her pre-castaway, everything planned down to the minute ways.
