What does "starring Dwayne Johnson" mean to you?

It's hard for me to want to really tune into his films because he's just always seemed like a comic book character in everything he does. I enjoyed him in The Rundown but even putting him in Jumanji seems like a bad idea. The original was already pretty silly (although done well and creepy at times) so they must really be going full toddler on this one. I just can't believe they chose Dwayne and Kevin Hart LOL, maybe it's because Zathura was already a decent Jumanji remake?

That there's a decent chance the movie is gonna be entertaining. ;)

It usually means I'm going to avoid it. If I want to see Dwayne at his very best, I'll turn on the WWE Network.

To me it means, here we go again, another movie with The Rock. He has to be in everything. Not saying he's a bad actor tho, it just gets old

I was just thinking about this after watching this film last night. You know what? For an ex-wrestler with a....unique look, this guy has a likability factor that is off the charts. I mean, he could just be the alpha male...but he's genuinely funny (even if the material isn't) and self-effacing.

I realize I've seen a lot of movies I never would have because he brings a ...comfort level. Is he Gary Oldman ? Hell, no. Is he Tom Hanks? No. But I find myself....rooting for him.

It means I can expect to watch an unrelatable man do unrelatable things. Sometimes he does them in a way that’s annoying, sometimes not. Either way, the plot and characters will all be safe and whitebread, and thus I can rent them on Thanksgiving and Christmas and not have to worry about making my family uncomfortable.

To me it means everyone else gets upstaged.

...IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU!

It means I probably won’t go out of my way to watch it.
