The movie's ending makes me so sad but the comic book has come to rescue
It is amazing that I find myself to fond of Adele (Clementine, in the comic) and Emma so much within three hours. I am a straight person but I don't care, I adore them. Love has no gender.
This is why I am still feeling stressed and sad after the ending of the movie. I can't even decide what score I should give to the movie because of it. My heart is broken. I have waited and waited to Adele and Emma reunite again in the end. The movie's ending is so cruel to me, especially knowing that the second part will never come out. I simply couldn't take it.
I have heard that the ending is different in the comics. So, I thought there still may be a comfort for my grief. I found after reading the comic that many parts of the movie stays true but the original story is different.
There is a conclusion of the story. If you are like me who really like the movie but truly saddened by the ending, you really must read the comic. You might want to know the hole story by reading the comic from the start to the end. I am really glad that I did.
SPOILER AHEAD:
They reunite. Emma forgives and loves Adele/Clementine to the very end.
For more, I strongly suggest that read the comic book from the start to the end. To me, it wasn't reading, it was experiencing.
Many thanks to the author JULIE MAROH for the comic and everyone who has contribution in the movie (especially the actresses Lea and Adele) for this great experience. It was totally a different experience that I didn't feel till today.
