The first time Adele went out to the bar and kissed the guy it was because Emma left a message she'll be late and Adele shouldn't wait for her. After that Emma seems kinda distant and less interested in Adele. Conveniently she does end up with Lise later. Do you think the audience was only meant to suspect(falsely) that something was going on there or did Emma cheat on Adele too?
shareI am pretty sure Emma was cheating. She had a girlfriend and cheated on her with Adele. If you pay attention, her body language is the same whe she's flirting with Adele and then with Lise. Also, I believe that's the point of the sex scenes, so the viewer understands how lustful and passionate they are for each other in the beggining of their relationship; a few years later, Emma isn't sexually interested in Adele anymore.
