This story could have the makings of a great feature film
If for instance it was taken up by the people who produced 'Luther' (with Idris Elba) and was substantially re-written. The mechanics of the women's analytical method would need to be properly demonstrated instead of being presented as some sort of sketchy parlour trick as it was in the tv mini-series. And the stakes, tension and consequences of the cat and mouse game with the killer would need to be ramped up considerably. But the basic ingredients are there in spades.
