Timothy's cane, season 2

I'm not sure if this would be considered a spoiler or not, but I'm going to treat it as though it is so that I don't ruin anything for anyone reading this

In the second episode of S2, as Susan is entering the veterans hospital (supposedly in search of Timothy's medical records) she runs into a nurse she and Timothy knew when he was hospitalized there. When the nurse asks how Timothy is doing Susan replies, "Stick's gone. Leg's as good as new". I believe that's all that is said about it.

You know, all the British shows are a bit obsessed with showing people with canes. They often get the continuity wrong. Watch Downton Abbey, Peaky Blinders, and Bletchley Circle with Timothy and even Jean after she was shot.
