Lol, I couldn't agree more. Finkel's "composite truth" is exactly the type of journalism we see in newspapers, magazines, , television, and all over the web. Everything he said happened did happen, it either happened to this kid or the other kid or maybe the that kid. Same difference. A bit like showing a picture of an event in Israel from 5 years ago in an article about something that happened yesterday. Happens all the time.

And I was so worried the political types wouldn't show to express their agenda- that they can't seem to shut up about no matter what the topic. Good to know you're as predictable as I'd suspected.
