I Really Hope Gabi Stays A Paramedic Forever
I seriously couldn't stand her as a firefighter. Glad the writers woke up. Just keep it this way please.

I agree, I hated her as a firefighter she became especially annoying and arrogant and obnoxious after she became a firefighter...and she was a terrible firefighter at that, she constantly broke many rules and Boden just kept excusing all her mistakes and breaking of the rules, and she had so much favoritism and special treatment. If this was real-life, Dawson would've been fired from her job a long time ago because of her many mistakes and disregard for the rules.
I hope she stays as a paramedic from now on and never go back to being a firefighter, she's a much better paramedic anyway.
I'm glad that she won't be on Casey's team any longer...I'm just afraid that Dawson will get even more screen time now - with Casey at home and at the station in between the calls, with Louie, with Sylvie on ambo, with her brother...The writers need to seriously tone her down...
Btw, do you think poor Brett will be demoted so that Scabby could get her PIC position back?
Brett shouldn't be demoted. She earned that promotion, and shouldn't have it taken away simply to appease Mary Sue Dawson.

If this were real life, Gabby would have never been able to work on Truck under Casey. That's one thing that is expressly prohibited in firehouses all over.
Really, Gabby just did not fit the build of a firefighter, character-wise, compared to Jones in Season 2, or even Kidd now. They're believable firefighter characters. Dawson never has been.
If Gabby can stay stuck as a paramedic, that will be a marketable improvement over the past few years.

Being a paramedic was gabby calling all along.
