Now i see what ppl are saying about gabby

I never really noticed before with ppl saying gabby is selfish .. But today's ep really took the cake..telling Casey do whatever you have to..I'm not gonna lose him..
So basically he has to go against what he believes in just to make her happy. Even Casey was looking at her like..really? Thats kinda selfish. Plus when she faught sooooo hard to be a firefighter..then abandons them the moment she finds out she's pregnant (didn't pregnancy ever cross her mind ..didn't she think that would have happen at some point in her future yet she still wanted to be a firefigter) then she loses the baby and comes back..then she fosters Louie and now says.oh put me back on 61 until the Jimmy thing blows over (making it seem like she's doing them a favor but really could care less about the Jimmy/Boden feud and is only thinking of herself)
Ugh just kill her already. No offence but they should have killed her instead of shay.

I took it more as "Do whatever it takes" as quit being an Alderman if you have too to keep the kid with them. I think she's looking out for him because he has no family, nobody wants him. She does seem a little selfish but I'll give her a pass on this one. Plus he's so darn cute specially when he asked Casey to read to him.

She pushed and manipulated Casey into being an Alderman in the first place, something he very much didn't want to do. I'd be happy with that storyline ending but seriously, does she even consider Casey to be a person anymore?

I agree with all of this. I haven't liked Gabby much since day 1. But Casey is a big boy. He can stand up to her, but he doesn't. So ultimately he is responsible for his choices.

He seemed to be looking at her like he was truly seeing her for the first time in a years. She's a mama bear and she will do anything to keep her cub and she expects him to sacrifice his principles and spirit and she doesn't care what damage it does to him.

I get gabby loves louie. However i think her asking him to do whatever it takes if it meant losing his aldermann position was selfish and matt looked at her as though she was crazy.

I noticed this too.

I can understand she feels strongly about Louie but she's not the only person in the world qualified to care for him. Its just strange to see that she doesn't care what happens to Casey as long as she gets to keep him. And she said it without hesitation too. Didn't even think about it.

I'd understand more if Louie was related to her. I guess Casey isn't as important to her as we thought.

prima donna Scabby (from now on I'll call her Scabby too) doesn't care about Casey, she only cares about herself and her own needs, I'm not convinced that Scabby fostering Louie was in his best interest, I do not believe Scabby is doing it for Louie's sake, I think she's doing it for her own sake. Scabby fell in love with this little boy and wanted him so much she decided to foster him because it's what SHE wants, I don't think she really has Louie's best interest at heart...if she truly cared about Louie, she would've let someone who was much more qualified to care for him, instead she's determined to keep Louie because that's what SHE wants, everything is about her her her.

And she's just stringing Casey along, all she has been doing is use him and manipulate him, she doesn't care about him, she only cares about herself.

I think if scabby loved louie like she says he does, she would put him in better care where he can be with someone in a less dangerous career.

that's my point exactly...she's not fostering Louie because she has his best interest at heart, she's only doing it because it's what SHE herself wants, whatever prima donna Scabby wants, she gets.

Gabby only cares about herself and anyone who gets in her way is expendable and i think matt is finally realizing that.
