I'm at a loss at where this show goes from here...

Any ideas?

Matt and Gabby? I won't even go there ugh.

I feel like the show is rehashing storylines. Every episode has a call with a person impaled my a random object. The Halloween head glued to a windshield this week was nuts.

Brett had the crazy ex, then the firefighter girl (forgot her name) had a crazy ex. I feel Ike they switch out characters every season and reuse the scripts.

I miss complex characters like Benny.

I have watched since the beginning. I'm just not sure. There is such a large cast. 1 or 2 characters take up the show. I feel like the "background" characters have nothing to do, Severide has nothing to do. Boden has a little story. Gabby is front and center year after year.

Gabby's parents party was the dumbest way to breakup ever.

Unless Casey gets an annulment I don't think I can watch the show anymore. It's too bad that only the first two seasons are worth rewatching...

Me too, too bad that would never happen.. The showrunners barely got away with the whole Beth thing and they wussed out on pairing Casey with Katya.

no, no, no! GABBY is going to go for the annulment, saying she doesn't want to tie casey in to a marriage of convenience when they eventually lose the kid. he will want to stay but she will want him to go.

You might be on to something there. She'll need "space". She get involved with other guys and Casey will sit by and wait for her.

Maybe now the "Dawsey" arc has reached it's forgone conclusion we can get back to the premise of the show and return to dramatic story lines and have less focus on the relationship driven soap opera of the last season few seasons.

All I can do is hope!

I tweeted to Hass that I didn't like the Dawson marriage and hope Casey would get an annulment once Louie was gone.

wouldn't that be great...actually the whole Dawsey relationship in general should be annulled, big mistake killing off Hallie and hooking Casey up with Scabby Dawson.

But I doubt Haas would listen to you though...just like the other producers and writers on this show who are too stupid and scared to defy all those loud squealing Dawsey shippers, Haas will only continue to bend over backwards to please the small but very loud group of shippers and Dawson fanatics, and he will only continue to ignore the feelings and opinions of the majority of the rest of the viewers.

and she just treats him like her personal doormat and servant...whatever she wants, he gives...and she doesn't show even nearly as much respect and consideration for Casey as he does for her...when it comes to Scabby Dawson, it's all about her her HER.
