WORST EPISODE EVER!!!

I wasn't really thrilled with the idea of Dawson adopting her foster kid but you could tell she really loved him & was committed to giving him the best life possible so after a while I was cool with it. Matt had some hesitation but then he got on board 100%. Then this season the writers decide to bring back Louie's dad with the b.s. line of him not even knowing the kid existed for the past 3 yrs but now he wants him back. Turns out he was deployed all this time & Louie's ho addict mom never said anything; okay, I get that. He wants to be in his life but isn't trying to fight Dawson & Casey right off, which is good. Then he finds out he's getting deployed & does the right thing by signing his rights over to Dawson & Casey. That was great. But then the SOB ambushes them with a million family members saying "I want him back, he needs me in his life." What a crock of sh*t!!! The writers expect us to get emotionally invested with the characters & then just spit on us & pull this crap?!?! What they should do next is have a story line where we find out Andre & Louie were killed in a drive by - it is Chicago after all - and they're two of hundreds of murder victims in Chicago, a city with the strictest gun laws in the US. They might as well, that's more believable than the garbage they just forced on us last night!!!

Look at the positives we got:

shirtless Severide
crying Severide
bare Severide butt... almost

reply

bet it was a medical school dummy, not the real butt or even a stand in butt. looked kinda plastic. sorry whumpy! don't remember him shirtless.

reply

Maybe he wasn't shirtless! Maybe I wanted it so badly I manifested it in my head. I thought it was just a bit when they were checking him at the hospital after his fall. I'll re-watch the butt scene - it probably was a stand in - sure looked real to me :)

reply

His shirt was cut open during the scene where they brought him into the hospital. I will go re-watch the butt scene. Obviously it was a med-school dummy butt when they were doing the things you cant do to Taylor but I want to believe it was real for part of the scene.

You knew Severide was going to give the marrow somehow. The needle - it looked more like a punch to me - going in was pretty intense.

reply

I agree with you, Louie's ja father is a piece of sh*t.
