He's not even a dr yet. Still a mess student.

They let med students do procedures although this one had complications so maybe it would have been best for a med student to not do it. The doctor standing next to him was giving him instructions so at least they had a doctor supervising him and didn't have him doing it on his own.

Had no problem with that. The scenes with Clarke and Severide are terrific. And it was more powerful for having someone who knows Kelly well there as opposed to a room of strangers.
