Once they get ashore... (spoilers)

How do they hope to (a) Haul all that gold ashore? (b) Explain it to the Turks who pick them up what they're doing with all that gold and why they're wearing those unusual suits? (c) Stash it? (d) Get it out of the country? (e) Cash a 27 pound brick, worth about $500,000, to even so much as pay for a bus ride to the next town?

Otherwise, I like the movie.

If Black Sea had been much more successful, that could have been the sequel.

Frankly, I don't think that the film was ever interested in any of those aspects. It just wanted to create something of a positive feeling by floating the gold up there, hence ending the movie in way that would be palatable to audiences.

You'd probably bury the suits and gold off the beach then get organized and come back for it later. If they are lucky they have their wallets with debit/credit cards so they can get some money from an ATM.

I'd watch a movie (or even a TV-series) where the plot revolves around two guys who wash up on a shore in Turkey with millions in gold!

I have trouble believing they can use a float suite to get to surface from a haul crushing depth....

A) The escape suit (unless they break the seal) floats. So they swim to shore, dragging the suit behind them. Once there, they can open the suit and carry the bars onto land one by one.

B) They tell them the truth, but leave out the part where Jude Law sent up an extra escape suit filled with gold. They then actively help Turkish authorities to recover the rest of the gold (how will the Turks ever know there are a few bars missing ?).

C) After getting it to shore (see A), they burry it (together with the 3rd suit) under the sand in a place where they can easily find it later.

D) After helping the authorities find the sub and the rest of the gold, I imagine they will be treated as heroes or at the very least be allowed to leave the country without too much hassle.

E) They then find a buyer for the gold bars, maybe in Israel ? They rent a truck, drive it into Turkey, recover the burried bars, drive back to Israel and sell the gold to the buyer at the agreed price.

Et voila. 
