Any news or updates on "will they won't they" ever make the alleged series 3 of Broadchurch?
shareI hope so. I saw that Olivia Colman was cast in a new spy show coming out in the UK so I hope that doesn't hinder the chances of another season.
shareBroadchurch 3 is in pre-production right now and starts shooting in early summer. They've already locked in the production dates (and both Tennant and Colman have confirmed in interviews that they'll be shooting it next summer), so it's definitely happening. The only reason it got postponed last year was because Olivia Colman got pregnant.

It seems to me Chris Chibnall, when interviewed in the summer, didn't have much written yet for series 3, so they really couldn't have shot it last summer, even if Olivia hadn't gotten pregnant.
As for Olivia's spy show, Night Manager, that was shot last spring. She is about to do another short series but David's tied up with Shakespeare for the next few months anyway.
They've started filming for Broadchurch 3 already (getting all the necessary footage of the hut now, before production proper starts in the summer, due to the hut being torn down soon).
I'd endanger my job if I gave precise details or any info not already in the public realm. :)
