S1, Ep 8, Ellie comes home to get some clothes for her and Tom and baby. She steps on some slimey turd-like thing on the carpet in her main room. What was that? Why the close up of it? Ewww.

The Broadchurch slug....
In an earlier episode Ellie is seen staring at a slug on her carpet. In the last episode,she squashes the slug.Well, there was something else unpleasant in her house!
