Mercedes Pulled Out...
Apparently Mercedes felt the quality of the show had dropped so much that they pulled out in supporting the show forthwith after S5. Im glad they secured American sponsors. Drive a nazi sleigh is passé anyway. Shalom.

And I agree..
I've liked every season myself except the last one which was just too damn dreary and depressing..
And while this season has everything but the kitchen sink being thrown at Ray (and most of his family) it's fascinating to see where it will go. Totally unpredictable.
It reminds me a little of Banshee in that Hood would regularly get beat to a pulp and overcome amazing odds and just keep on trucking.
Ray just keeps on keeping on.
I love Ray Donovan (the character and the show), don’t get me wrong, but Sheriff Lucas Hood would end him in a fight, if it ever came to that—which I don’t think it would, just as Hood and Proctor never took it all the way. There’d be too much respect between the two men.
But no show, not even Spartacus, has had fights like Banshee!
Well, I really wasn't talking about them going blow to blow but just their common capacity to take a licking and keep on kicking..
Lesser men would be in a coma...or dead.
Or both!
Any Ray Donovan fan who’s also a Fanshee is okay by me, Roxie. I’d like to see a Donovan/Banshee crossover where they kick the toadstools out of Satan. And Job erases all of his accounts.
