I love the Hitchcock version but this looks ok.

Yeah, if I'd never seen the orginal I'm sure I'd enjoy it more, gonna watch it though.

Imo a new adaptation of a literary work isn’t messing with a classic. By that standard, no one should ever stage a play revival.

Fair point. But most people (myself included) only know the story from the original film. Guess I should add it to my list of books to read.
