Casting, the F-Word, and Other Issues
I just loved the writer, director, and star Gordon-Levitt’s portrayal of a stereotypical Italian and church going Catholic family. The men constantly said the F-word in the presence of the family’s females. What was the point? I’d bet that Jew-boy Gordon-Levitt would never consider repeating that behavior if it was a Jewish family. For the record, I am not Italian nor Catholic, but just saying. Then we have the TN (Token Negro). I am also sure all Italian guys from New Jersey best friends are Black. The best thing about this movie was Scarlett Johansson. That is quite a drop going from Johansson to Moore! Moore was more Gordon-Levitt’s speed.
