The ending
It felt to me like the movie finished on a rush (no pun intended) I didn't like the ending.

The film went to shyte as soon as the Julianna Moore character showed up.
shareI think the whole point of the movie was building up to his relationship with Julianne Moore, so he could learn how to love, the value of love, the beauty, warmth and fulfilling feeling of love vs. the empty banging he was doing like an adolescent rather than an adult. Sure, banging is good too but ultimately is empty when that's all you have.

shareI agree. I still don't see how exactly he supposedly changed or how screwing an older lady in the car made him more mature.

Being with her taught him how to love, he said he liked to lose himself in porn, when they were at her house and they made love notice the difference in how they are having sex. He lost himself in her. Don Jon explained everything in the ending scene, i really don't know why you guys watch the movie if you're not gonna pay attention.
