Is it worth watching? Does it have a story arch? Was it cancelled?

Is it a "murder of the week" type of show?

In case it does have a story arch, and was cancelled, did it have a proper ending?

No story arch. I liken it to Murder, She Wrote or Father Dowling Mysteries. I only discovered it recently on PBS. The episodes are from 2013.

It's definitely coming back for a 4th season.

I just discovered this show. I really enjoy it! It is mainly episodic in nature, but does have a light story arc in the background. They are still airing series 4, and I am unsure if there will be a series 5. So, there is no wrap up, satisfactory...or not...as of yet. I recommend it.
