Because Huly gave them a 26 episode-order, I heard they`re airing 13 in 2015 and 13 in 2016, so I`m guessing the 13th would end up with a cliffhanger about Mindy and Dandy`s relationship. So, has anyone heard from a reliable source when the show will come back?
shareNo. But they're not filming at the moment and haven't filmed beyond the episode that's airing tomorrow night, so I guess they're not coming back in January like they did last year. But last year, they ended early. If they came back early February, they could have 4 episodes each in February, March, April, and end in May. That would make sense.

Be prepared to create another petition for season 5 if there's something going wrong right away.
shareI'd imagine any delay is because they are waiting for Chris Messina to finish filming his movie. I don't think anything is "going wrong." They have 13 more episodes this season, whether they start them in January or March. What on earth would anyone petition about? To make them write faster? To make Chris Messina come back sooner? To make Ben Affleck finish the movie more quickly? Petitions don't work anyway. Your petition to Fox didn't work. The show is no longer on Fox. It got picked up elsewhere, where there were measurable ratings that showed people watched it.

Even if this show is currently in Hulu, we still petition if something continues to go wrong in Hulu along the way.
shareI heard that Hulu signed the show for two 26 episode seasons. So, unless something has changed or I heard wrong, we have a whole season and a half before we have to worry!
shareSomeone posted a photo of their production calendar. While it wasn't very visible, there were post-its on the calendar, and one color was always on Tuesday, so presumably for an episode airing. That color doesn't start until . . . MARCH.

If it is March, then it has to be early March, nothing later than that.

shareIt started filming today (according to Twitter), so that's a good sign that it should be back soon. Of course, this time last year, it was already back. But, then again, the season ended in March. If it starts in February, it will presumably go to May.
I'm hoping we hear about renewal soon too. I can't imagine it won't be renewed, as it is Hulu's most popular original series. As I write this, when it hasn't had a new episode in over a month, it is their 13th most popular series overall (and several shows above it are Showtime shows, being offered to Hulu subscribers for a limited time).
