Yep, it did not disappoint at all. And Mindy's parents are wonderfully nutty, just like her. Great acting and stellar writing.

Loved it. All my fears about the move to Hulu ruining the show were proven false.

I think the show can only improve by being on Hulu. When it was on Fox, the episodes sometimes got moved around due to scheduling concerns, resulting in weird continuity issues (like they moved a Thanksgiving episode so it could play near Thanksgiving, but that resulted in it being before an episode it was supposed to be after). The worst of these was the episode after Mindy and Danny's breakup, which was supposed to have taken place before they started dating but got moved later. And, of course, last year they added those 6 episodes after the initial ones had been made, which was great because it meant there were 6 more episodes but bad because, again, they had a sort of shoehorned-in quality. Since Mindy Project is a more serial-type show than some other sit-coms, every little move made a big difference.

Now that it's on Hulu, and they know the exact episode order, will presumably know before the end of the 26 episodes whether they'll have another season, and won't have to schedule around stuff like the World Series, it should be way better.

Also, the episode was longer, 27 minutes instead of the 21-22 of the usual episode. Even if they cut the "Previously on The Mindy Project" and the longer theme song, It would be at least 25. I think that made it feel less rushed.

Was that when her now-disappeared friend had a broken arm then broke her arm a couple episodes later? I would think that on Hulu they would have fixed the order of the episodes.

Haha. I would know that line from anywhere. It's one of the best scenes ever from Alias.

Yeah, it was so awesome! Loved it!

I miss it so much! Can't wait for it to come back!

Otoh, I guess that means it will last longer into the year.
