Does anyone else feel a bit of sexual tension between Mindy and Jody? Or is it just me? If I remember correctly, Mindy and Danny had a similar relationship before they got together, so I wouldn't be surprised if Jody has feelings for Mindy

Her relationship with Jody actually reminds me more of her friendship with Peter in that they both mean well but are still pretty immature and always messing things up. The most recent episode reminded me of when Mindy took Peter to Josh's wedding (in the 2nd season) and how he was a great date until he ended up sleeping with the bride--similar to how Jody screwed up the home visit with the admissions director from the private school the morning right after he had acted like Mindy's charming husband. And, like Peter sleeping with Josh's wife and essentially ruining his wedding, Jody slept with those college girls and almost ruined Mindy's presentation in the episode before that (even though he was trying to help).
I can see some of the similarities between Jody and Danny, but Danny was always more serious whereas I see Jody not being as mature and responsible as Danny is/was.
Jody reminds me a lot of season 1 Danny except that, where you sort of knew that season 1 Danny was going to lighten up due to his exposure to Mindy, I feel like Jody is too set in his ways to ever do that.
That said, I never liked the writer who wrote this most recent episode, so it's possible he could have some better character development in episodes a different writer writes.
Anyone standing next to Garrett Dillahunt immediately has chemistry with him. True story.

I really don't get people saying Mindy and Jody are getting together. What makes you say that other than 1) He's a man, and she's a woman and 2) They don't get along.
I'm not being sarcastic. I'm really trying to figure out why people think they'll get together.
