I don't hate the Jody character but his replacing Danny feels a bit askew to me. I personally liked the imbalanced and humorous chemistry Danny and Mindy had when they were together. Jody just doesn't fit for me. Just my opinion. But I also liked the show better when Peter was in it more. Adam Pally is a funny guy.

He played Max in Happy Endings and Peter in TMP so well--they had a lot of similar characteristics and he completely nails the kind of slacker-ish, but funny and ultimately kind-hearted guy. And I love how he and Mindy had such good chemistry as friends. They were so hilarious together! I'm still bummed that he is not on the show because it is not the same without him. I loved season 1, but I think I may have liked season 2 even better because of Peter being there. I would get rid of Jody and Colette in a second to have Peter back as a regular. :(
shareAgree completely. Mindy has fantastic comedic chemistry with Chris Messina and Adam Pally. The scenes with Mindy and Danny felt like the most fun in a while. Also, Mindy and Peter make hilarious best friends. It's wishful thinking, but it would be nice to have Chris Messina and Adam Pally back as regulars.

I miss Peter, I'd take him over Morgan. I don't like how this show drops characters every season.
