2 more episodes until 11/15/2016...

Yeah, we're getting closing to this show's most important episode ever in history!

What makes you think that, other than the fact that it will be the show's 100th episode, which seemed unlikely to happen for a while?

Every show, which is about to reach to its 100th episode, each is about to make celebration. I know they did schedule the 100th of this show for the upcoming 11/15/2016 airdate, but they should reveal its episode, closer by then.

Do not mention "unlikely" right now yet, verucasalt23-1, we're not giving up still.

I don't think it will be canceled by Hulu. I just think Mindy Kaling may not want to do the show after this season. She has roles in two big movies coming up and sold a script of her own for film. But it is the highest-rated Hulu show, so I think it will be her choice.

Of course, it is not going to get cancelled by Hulu right now, that's no problem. This show aired 98 episodes, so far, the 99th episode is this Tuesday, 11/08/2016 and one week after is the 100th episode. But it is up to her if she wants to continue with this show or not by May 2017, which right after 11/15/2016.

This season is 16 episodes, so they will definitely have all of them. Since they're taking a hiatus, I don't know when that will end. I guess it's possible they'll go another season, especially if it's a short season. Actors on shows like Game of Thrones and Veep do other projects. But five would be fine.

We just focus on this upcoming episode airing this Tuesday. It is the 7th episode, not the 16th yet.

I believe I also read that she has at least two TV projects in the works. One is a comedy for ABC that was co-written by Ed Weeks (Jeremy) and the other is a single cam comedy for NBC. Based on that, I get the vibe she is ready to move on and I think that's a good decision. The show started running its course last season.

Yeah, but there are a lot more pilots than get picked up. That's why the two film projects (an Oceans 11 reboot that is already filming, I believe, and a film version of A Wrinkle in Time, the classic children's book) seemed more real to me.
