He never anwered the question...
During their argument scene in the hotel, when she brought up his book tours and how she suspected him of sleeping with the "Emily Bronte" girl (the fan of his who wrote him praising his books), he never came out and said he didn't sleep with her. She kept asking him about it and putting him on the spot, and his response was always - looking at her intently, "I am fully committed to you", and "I love you and am with you". Yet he never clearly stated, "No, of course not I never slept with her or anyone behind your back". I just found it interesting that several times when she asked him the question, he never specifically stated he didn't sleep with that girl. I was somewhat disappointed in him for that, because it led me to believe he did. However, had he said he didn't but really did, he would have been lying (but of course we would never know). But then again, both of them were far from perfect.
