Lily Collins shines in this film.

I had never heard of Stuck in Love and had never seen Lily Collins act, but I've got to say I was impressed. The movie was featured on Netflix and I like Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connelly so I gave it a shot. The movie itself was better than expected, but the real surprise was Lily Collins. She really stole the movie - out-shining Connelly who was given little to do in this film - and earned a new fan in me. With the eyebrows, pouty lower lip, raven locks and alabaster skin, she reminded me a bit of a young Elizabeth Taylor.

Yes, she was great in this.

I thought she did average. I did like the character though. The real surprise for me was Wolff. Usually I hate musicians who turn to acting thinking they can act, especially teenage ones, but I really liked him in this. It was a nice surprise.

You heart me? What is that? Is that like I love you for pussies?

Have you seen him in anything else? He's not bad, but always seems to play the same.

Lily Collins was nice too.

reply

Only The Fault in Our Stars. He didn't have a huge role, but he was okay.

Indeed she did.

She was excellent and so ridiculously pretty.

Agreed. She was awesome. I appreciated the resemblance between her and Connelly, it brought more authenticity. I wish they had more scenes together (the movie failed on that).

Anyway, Collins shines in pretty much everything. She's the only good thing about Love Rosie, for example. I haven't seen the Mortal Instruments for obvious reasons, but I guess she wasn't the real problem...

She was quite good.
