I was half-watching this film. Did Kristen Bell's role in this film go beyond being purely sexual?

I only watched this movie because of her and I skipped all scenes not involving her. I have no idea what this movie is about.

I think they cast her in this movie so they could make some interesting trailers. She does not do much more than that. The only reason I am watching this is because of her and it is a waste of time as far as she is concerned.
