It looks like a remake and very similar to the first.

Yes, we have entered the era where if something is successful it is remade within 10 years.

No it’s a prequel - an origin story for the 3 killers in the first movie. I just saw the trailer and was shocked at how unoriginal it looked. It’s basically the same thing as the original ..

They done out of ideas
