When Mackenzie shouts at Bart
I wonder what Bart's thinking when Mackenzie shouts "Get the f*ck off me" when he tries to lead her back to the road. He's obviously startled. I think in that moment he's wondering what would drive this girl to put herself in a vulnerable situation (being alone with a man she doesn't know) when she's afraid to be touched. And up till then she's been the one invading his space, insisting on following him even when he tells her to go her own way. So I think when she overreacts that way, he remembers that she's still a vulnerable, scared kid. I also think it's when he realizes he has to tread carefully with her.
