What I loved about this film (plus video interview)
Dialogue in writing is something I've been painstakingly aware of lately, how it so often feels like a way for the writer to explain concepts/emotions to him/herself that he/she has little to no experience with. A topic like child molestations would likely be spattered with back-and-forth screaming and broken dinner plates. Wildlike takes its cues from the awkwardness of reality, and the result is immeasurably more sincere.
Here is my discussion with writer/director Frank Hall Green. Hope you enjoy!
