… because while I respected that film’s sincere artistic vision, I really didn't enjoy it. I gather that film’s director, Ari Aster, produced this.

Can anyone who has seen both compare the two?

I still liked Beau is Afraid more than this. Both are totally different movies that are only similar in aesthetic.

I found it to have similar vibes, but unlike Beau is Afraid, this didnt go off the rails towards the end.

They are very different...

While Beau deals with a person with mental issues and the way he sees the world...

Dream scenario deals with a very normal person who is effected by a situation he cannot control, the situation might be very strange, but he has absolutely no control over it.
