Is Rob Schneider still friends with Adam Sandler?

One article pointed out that he was conspicuously left out of the last 3 Sandler movies but stopped short of explaining further.

For the millionth time his wife was in the process of having a baby when filming was going on. Wasnt that important a film for him with his kid coming. He has already done like ten films with Sandler. Thats all there is to it, the media might want to make more out of it.

If a movie wants somebody in it, they find a way to make it happen. No efforts were made to accommodate Schneider.

reply

Not true. Many movies try to get certain people in them and it doesn't work out. Schneider was busy having a baby and also at the time filming his then TV show.

reply

His Tv show was no longer filming. Rob's calendar was wide open and he was still doing club gigs.

reply

Actually, I heard this, he WAS still doing club gigs. Plenty of time to fly out to shoot a scene in a movie.

Yes his show was done filming because it was canceled, but if the show wasn't canceled it would have been filming. But the script was already written and the film had gone into production already before his show was canceled.

Rob Schneider might talk about the baby thing, but homeboy wanted to get paid. He could of shown up for 4 hours and done a cameo.

Its about cash and placement on the credits. I suspect Rob Schneider wanted the usual credit roll and it to be 'and ROB SCHNEIDER' to give him equal billing with Sandler

Schneider was busy having a baby

Damn that must have been painful.

Utah! Get me two.

Damn that must have been painful.

That sounds like his next movie...Rob Schneider was an average Joe until one day he found out he was...pregnant!

I call movies that are considered 'bad' hated movies.

so he was born with the ability to give birth as a male. crazy. they need to film a discovery show about him

Is this thread for real?!!!! Hilarious! I mean, who even cares what Rob Schneider is up to?

RING. Hello?
"Hi. It's George."

He has had his fifteen minutes way too many times already. Waiting for "Making Copies: The Movie" due next year.

Yeah, I hadn't noticed that Rob had been left out of any other Sandler movies recently, although I'm not sure I've even seen the last three he put out.

I just watched GU2 today and about halfway through it I was like, "Hey, where's Rob Schneider? Shouldn't he be making an appearance by now?" Was slightly disappointed he didn't. Not because I'm that big of a fan, but simply because I've been so used to seeing him in practically every Sandler movie I've watched. I believe all the other regulars appeared except for Schneider and Blake Clark.

I was especially glad to see all the "old" SNL characters like Tim Meadows, Cheri Oteri, Jon Lovitz, and Ellen Cleghorne, plus some of the newer ones too (Will Forte, Andy Samburg and Bobby Moynihan).

It was definitely worth the 1.5 hrs of my time. I had a few laugh out loud moments, but I find fart jokes and bodily functions amusing. Should I be ashamed to admit that?

We will find out soon if the baby thing holds weight. If true Rob will be in the next Sandler movie. A friend who I trust told me around the time Grown-ups 1 came out said he saw an interview where Rob said GUs was his last movie with Adam.

People work while their partners are pregnant all the time I really don't see it as a valid excuse. What I did find strange though is that they didn't even bother to explain the characters absence. I mean it's a moot point anyway since the movie is a pile of crap but still odd.

Your's sincerely, General Joseph Liebgott
