My fiancée and I got this and watched it with our neighbors and we all loved it. It didn't need a plot. It was just funny. We all laughed the whole time (and no there was no alcohol or drugs involved). Not sure why everyone is complaining about a plot. It didn't need one. Not all funny movies do. It's one of those sit back, relax, and laugh movies. Anyone who didn't think this was funny needs a sense of humor.
shareI completely agree. Not every movie needs a plot, especially this kind of comedy. Being 35 and with a family i really found most of this movie hilarious. We all can relate to our childhood friends. I happen to live out of state so i don't see them that often, but when we do get together there is a bond that is still there. I can only imagine if i moved back to my hometown and had a chance to interact with my childhood friends on a daily basis as an adult with children. That's the relatability of this movie. If i was a teenager or retirement age i probably wouldn't find this movie as funny.

Of course not all movies need strong plots. A comedy can be done without a plot if it's funny....too bad Grown Ups 2 is not funny. It's lame humor for 7 year olds.
When you say "anyone who didn't find this funny needs a sense of humor"...ummmm, I think it's more like you need higher standards in a sense of humor. I have a couple 10 year olds who even walked away after 15 minutes and said "This is stupid."
How about I date your mother and make you and your 10 year old cum stains bed time 2 hours early?
