I was listening to a podcast that explains they will have to come up with a reason why in 2016 with hotels.com, yelp reviews, etc how any guest would choose to stay at Bates anyway. Marian needs to be either an eccentric personality or perhaps someone from another country who makes the biggest booking error of their life may be a likely fit.
Agree. Plus I have a lot of faith in the makers of the show, after watching it for 4 seasons. Thus far they've shown a lot of integrity and smarts. Can't imagine they'd want to risk dropping the ball with a miscast in the final season.

I think she'll be alright. I can't see her being a worse Marion Crane than Anne Heche was in the Psycho remake.
shareReally? I thought Anne Heche was one of the few good things about the remake. She played Marion somewhat differently from Janet Leigh, but it worked. Vince Vaughn as Norman, however...
