The timeline of season 4

Romero says in episode 10 that he and Norma had been married for two weeks. Seems like a short time. How long was Norman at Pineview? I got the impression it was at least a few weeks, given that he escaped for a night in that time, and enough time for his psyciatrist to get to know him a little, and giving Alex and Norma time to become so close. Then, he would have been home at least a week before Norma's death.

And wouldn't Emma's recovery have taken longer than two weeks, especially for her to make a big move?

That's actually the only thing that doesn't really add up.
All the other events - Norman's stay in Pineview, the wedding, all that - could happen within 2 weeks. Normero have been bound to happen for 2 seasons now, so the fact that it happened so quickly doesn't seem off to me.
But healing from a complicated lung transplant surgery within two weeks?? (heck, even the stitched wound seems in a much more progressed healing process) Having Emma walking around as if all is well? That doesn't happen in real life.

Emma's recovery is the only thing I found amiss. I find it hard to believe she could recover enough in 2 weeks to be as active as she was in helping her dad move.

As far as the timeline, I think Season 4 began two weeks before the week of Christmas 2014, given that the Lights of Winter festival was taking place in 4x04, and the house was shown decorated in Christmas lights and decorations in the last scene of 4x10 (all this was most likely in Norman's head along with Mother and Juno, but I still believe it was Christmas time).

It was definitely Christmas season as Norma and co. went to pick out the tree in episode 8.
