Now that would have been quite a storyline for the show - Norma being pregnant and how Norman feels about it!

Big missed opportunity. I always loved the idea of Norman trying to fake "being cured" (which he had that whole big speech to his Pineview buddy about)and then having some trigger that would make him fall apart. Norma getting pregnant and having Alex's baby would be a perfect trigger.
Could you all imagine his reaction to Norma breast feeding? Holy crap. Norma having a newborn and a later in life pregnancy would also increase his role with the motel and set up his as the owner in Psycho. Also with him eventually murdering Norma and Alex, Dylan and Emma could leave town with their baby. This would be a good explanation for Dylan having no role in the Psycho plot.
It would have been a dumb storyline. Im glad the writers didnt even attempt it
shareI would have loved that storyline. She's not even too old to become pregnant and the pregnancy would have made things so much more interesting. It's a shame how short and superficial they made the triangle between Norman, Norma and Alex.

Actually following the freaking movie and killing Norma and Alex together would've been 1000 times more humane than her "peaceful" gassing death.
shareHow so. Norma died pretty damn peacefully. Norman made her laugh/smile before falling asleep and she didnt feel any pain. In the original she died a painful death. Look i understand you are a shipper and wanted them to live happily ever after in heaven but thats not what the show is about
