I can't seem to find the actor for Dr. Edwards listed in any of the season 5 episode cast-lists.
Does this mean...?
1) Maybe season 5 starts months or years after season 4, and so maybe Norman has switched doctors?
2)Or maybe Dr. Edwards only appears in season 5 episode 1, and he gets killed off really quickly, a la Arboghast from the Psycho movie?
Damon Gupton was cast as a series regular in Season 12 of 'Criminal Minds' so there's a chance he may not be in the final season. They haven't mentioned anything about time jumps etc. - my guess is that they don't want to reveal too much since it's the final season.
The cast wrapped filming for Christmas last week and will return to the set on January 3rd or 4th according to the site YVR Shoots. They began filming the episode Freddie has directed almost 2 weeks ago and should wrap filming on the season in late January/early February.
