Season 4 - Bates Motel (2013) Discussion

I thought seasons 1,3, and 4 were all very good. Season 2 dragged a bit for me because they devoted too much time to the marijuana subplot and the war between the two families that controlled the pot industry. I know the subplot was necessary, but they could have devoted less air time to it. Any plot that doesn't directly concern Norman and/or Norma, and have them in it, quickly grinds to a halt.

Season 1 and 4 were by far the best. Season 3 was up and down, and season 2 sucked

I too think Season 4 was the best. Here's how I'd rank every season:

1) Season 4
2) Season 1
3) Season 2
4) Season 3

I think I read that Season 4 will be out on Netflix DVD and blu-ray in October or November. You'd have to sign up for one month to watch it, but Netflix usually offers a 1-month free trial with no obligation to continue. I paused my Netflix rental account but will re-start it when Season 4 comes out, or maybe before then.

-Season 2/3 are interchangeable to me.

S2 started great and got a little slow. S3 started slow and got really great.

Mine is the same but I'd switch 1 and 2. I'd put 4 and 3 VERY high above the first two seasons.
