Do you think she will be decapitated like in the book?

I don't think her mode of death (if she dies) is going to be anything like the book or the movie.

Was she decapitated in the movie?? I thought she was "only" stabbed to death.

She wasn't decapitated in the movie, but she was in Bloch's novel. I hope they're not foolish enough to try to recreate the iconic shower scene. No, I don't think that will happen. We'll probably see Marion's death from Norman's/Mother's POV, which was what the film couldn't show us for obvious reasons.

I feel like a decapitation is too gory for an A&E show to pull off successfully but I would love if they stayed true to the book. They definitely won't just recreate the movie's scene.
