So having certain things illegal in the traditional sense...
... as in you get arrested by police and jailed or given a death sentence for some things, is literally THE ONLY thing stopping most criminal committing violent and other forms of crime and or bad deeds?
Because for certain matters, even if law disappeared on them, wouldn't there at least, say, be some kind of risk of revenge, retaliation and retribution from either the victim or their parents, friends, relatives and loved ones, like we've seen NUMEROUS times in real life, and while total absence of the law may sadly ensure that evil wins more times, wouldn't there also be more instances of vengeance against the BAD people too?
Interestingly enough, in SOME matters, people almost ONLY worry about them from a purely LEGAL as opposed to moral and any other type of persepectives, even if in TRADITIONAL well known examples of/as such, knowing how traumatic such deeds are for the victims, often enough to the point that they commit suicide afterwards, most (normal and civilized, mind you) people worry about them (and rightfully so) from moral and damaging ways in which they badly affect those around them rather than just the law, and you could all think of such examples.
Thing is, take my grandmother for instance, who is well versed in morality mind you.
If, God forbid, let alone to her, I did something wrong and immoral but say it wasn't illegal or the law dissapeared for a day, she would STILL be angry with me and hold a grudge, so lack of law doesn't prove anything morality wise.
What do you think, thanks.
