'Burglarise'???


This is not a word in use in the UK even today. I have read that the Americans tend to find the word 'burgle' humorous, for some reason, that's the only reason I can think of for changing it to 'burglarise' *shudder*.

It's was in common use during the time period of the show and is still in use in the UK although not by todays illiterate chavs.
