Damn, when Reid's Berserk Button is pushed....((spoilers for episode 4))

He makes Drake look like a puppy.

Haven't gotten to the episode yet, but I think a recurring theme is that Reid and Drake want to fight evil because they believe it is the right thing to do, but being surrounded by evil day in day out gives them a very, very dark side.

The man's an utter menace. Plus Macfadyen's 9ft 10 make even Flynn look dainty in comparison. 

Also in fairness that yankee doesn't know when to shut his pie hole

LOL

I can't believe how tall McFadyen is in RL. He isn't particularly tall looking but when they film him with the rest of the cast, he towers over them like Gulliver in Lilliput.

Its hilarious.

reply

he's got a bit of a baby face which I find hard to reconcile with his height and voice.

and Clive Russell (Abberline) is even taller than MacFadyen!

Rothenberg - 5 ft 11 in / 1.80 m
Flynn - 6 ft / 1.83 m
MacFadyen - 6 ft 3 in / 1.91 m
Russell - 6 ft 6 in/ 1.98 m

Another actor that is really tall is Alexander Skarsgard.

He is about 6ft 4in, but really closer to 6ft 5in. He practically has to kneel down to kiss Anna Paquin in True Blood. LOL

reply

 I remember him as the young priest in The Pillars of the Earth and the height differential between him and his cast members wasn't readily apparent. I was surprised in Ripper Street.

reply

the first time he registered with me was in The Reckoning with Paul Bettany (2003). he didn't seem that tall then either.

maybe he's still growing 

LOL

Well his face still looks weirdly young. Maybe he just experienced puberty. What is it 3 to 4 years of growing afterwards?

reply

just wait till his voice breaks. now that should be interesting 😆
