Joseph Merrick "the elephant man"

He apparently died the way shown in the series though. Very cleverly done imho. I love how they tied in all those different developments and aspects of life in London at the time, the Order of the Golden Dawn, the electrification of the London underground, phossy jaw etc., even if some of those are off by a couple of years.

After all is said and done, a lot more will have been said than done.

Considering his cause of death was the same how could anyone possibly know if he was murdered or not? We don't even know who Jack the Ripper was or if Queen Vic really did walk around on her knees under those massive dresses to pretend she was short.
