Some great news for next season (spoilers from first post)

I was just reading through a few news sources last night and saw that season 5 of Ripper Street will have an old character returning. Personally, I can't wait to see Jedediah Shine back and I hope that he's not in it for just a couple of scenes, though given how he left us I don't see how he's still alive given that he would have been hanged for his crimes, no doubt. Given that everyone is on the run that might have a part to play, perhaps.

EPIC SPOILERS!!!

It's Joseph Merrick.. but not quite, in the first episode a brilliant young physician by the name of Hector Crankensteen has reanimated Joseph but what's this? All is not as it seems because within his mishapen head is now the brain of the late Inspector Drake. Benito is back on the beat with a limp and lots of lumps.

Will he try to win back Rose? Or will he pull her to pieces while struggling to come to terms with his spectacular top-heavy shape and half-decomposed mind?

You'll have to tune in.
