Just finished series/season 3 on Netflix
And I can't help but think the program should have ended there, because it seems to me to continue on they have to lose their more or less happy endings.
Keep watching this series you will not be disappointed. The storylines get more intricate and interesting and the acting in this show is stellar.
shareI watched the penultimate episode of season 3 tonight. I watch it because of the excellent acting, but as I have said on other threads the writing for this season seems to be all over the place and on occasion is very hard to follow. But I will keep watching.
shareSeason 3 had a really satisfying conclusion.... I am half way through season 5 and have really mixed feelings.. while it is great to see all of these characters and actors again, I am not sure we needed these two extra seasons...
Given the absolutely heartbreaking end to season 4, and season 5, which has clearly been influenced by American tastes, I think we'd have been better off with only 3 seasons. I am American, just for the record, but I wish we didn't love the neat and tidy endings or the need to turn everything into CSI and melodrama. The writing in seasons 4 and 5 is miles away from the first 3 seasons
