if yall don't listen to popular music,(which i don't), donald glover is childish gambino, his first album was rap but his latest was more a tribute to progressive rock, and Parliment/funkadellic era funk IE George Clinton

Atlanta was described in production as by its creator, executive producer, and star donald glover as "twin peaks with rappers" and while it doesn't follow a murder mystery, it does delve deep into a community of nuanced characters with great surrealism, great directors,

and despite being basic cable had almost as many F-bombs as a lesser HBO show, i guess i showtime show, and without being gratititous, i didn't even notice that they were dropping that bomb regularly until a few episodes in, but with rappers you kinda expect it, (unless you are a pansy ass show like empire)

touching on issues such as gender, race, homophobia in the rap community, social medias exploitation of people, police brutality, and trans-racialism
