Christmas eisode felt more like the show I loved last year

I loved last year's Christmas episode, so given the inconsistent shows this season, I was concerned about this year's, but I really enjoyed it.

Some of it was reminiscent of pieces of last season's episodes, but it was the parts that made those shows special. Larry dragging out the secret of Dick's present reminded me of the Dreamweavers episode when he did that to Jackie who wanted to be wooed. Dick's present to Amber reminded me of the Cold War where he gave her the care package with items that showed he'd really paid attention to what she likes. Even Amber's present to Reggie, although in a previous episode he'd done something similar for her. I have to admit, I guessed Larry's secret right away, but Amber's gift to Reggie totally caught me off guard.

Oh, and it had some great lines in it too, some that I didn't catch until the second time through. "I can't get him a book because he's on a cleanse". "May the horse be with you".

THAT is exactly what I felt. The Christmas episode had the quirkiness & sweetness of Season 1. It felt good! Oh! I, along with a few more Aliens are going to work tomorrow before Hiatus. Yay! (Said as we Zabvronians do! ;-) )

Happy Holidays to all!

What I love about this show is that it's got a flavor of the 80s sitcom with a new quirkiness of 2013. They wrap up each episode, but not in a cheesy way, but still for the audience to get something out of it.

I really wish more shows were like this.

If you're not taking any steps forward, you're not moving at all.
