Did the Xmas episode air out of order?

...with Jane as a blond still (didn't she go brunette and find the cool jock as a boyfriend a couple episodes back?) and Larry not having a job (he got one working at the coffee shop, did he not?) seems like this ep was slightly out of order.

Still, it was cute. Like most episodes of this show, i enjoyed it. Not sure why this show never got a fair shake in this world, and i figure it's on the bullet train to cancellation, but i'll enjoy it while it lasts...

I liked Amber and Jackie's interactions... "Is this the first conversation we've ever had?"

I also liked how Amber actually had to eat crow a bit (even if it was for about 30 seconds) for her continued dedication to trying to be the least loving person on earth.

Though i did like her giggling at the plight of Tiny Tim.

Noticed the Larry's job illogicality, even if it can be explained in many ways.
You're right it was a fun episode, just two things bothered me : the ball-pool just for the sake of one joke, mocking typical husband's immaturity & wine promotion ?
& why at the end does Larry's wife make the phone/hang-up hand gesture to Amber?
& what gift did Jane brought from other space , aaaargh i wanna know !!??? :)

But i loved the disappointment face on Dick Butkus b4 he receives his gift
& some great lines as always :

*"I'd like to be alone so I can cry like a man cries."

*"Yes, he did seem rather broken a couple of times this week. I do see what you mean."

*"Did you know that Barbie has, like, 100 jobs?"

*"It's... it's an "antation.""

*"Here's $20. They're having a sale on deodorant downstairs."

hahaha...etc

I think Jackie making the phone/hangup hand gesture to Amber was a play on their interactions earlier at the mall. Jackie was really enjoying shopping with Amber, and she made a comment about possibly hanging out more, going to movies and stuff. Amber shot her down then, and at the end i think that's Amber shooting her down again.

I have to agree, though, i'm also curious what Jane's present was! I kept figuring we would find out...

About the continuity, Jane's an alien and can change her appearance at will, so that was logical, but I wondered about "the first conversation we've had" between Jackie and Amber. Didn't she open up to the Bird Kersees during the party in the Grease episode?
