Any of you guys watching 'The Goldbergs' ?

Just curious , "the neighbors" was my favourite show last year. I still watch it every week , hoping it will get back on track (I did not enjoy the last few episodes).
The reason I am asking this is I feel the same way about "The Goldbergs" as I did about "the neighbors" last year.
Like "The neighbours" I did not really like the pilot episode at all but decided to give it another go and now it's growing on me and it is now my favourite new show of the season...

The-Veggie I really need to give "The Crazy Ones" another go. Did not watch it past the pilot but all my friends told me now it's really good and that it's their favourite new show so I'll have to start watching it again..

Also as I'm at it another show that just started and that is pure genius is "Getting on" on HBO. It's completely different from anything else on TV and it feels so realistic. It's about three nurses in a geriatric unit , really,really dark humour! it's only a 6 episode but it's quality stuff.

Goldbergs is an excellent show. Not doing much better than Neighbors ratings-wise, but at least it has a full season order. The entire cast is great, from an old pro like Segal, to the youngest kid (not annoying at all). Especially like the daughter, Erica!!

Trophy Wife, after Goldbergs, ain't bad either. Akerman rules.

And I agree with Veg on Crazy Ones. Another good show. Gellar doesn't get enough credit for her role. Just as hilarious as Williams, but in a different way. Her character tries to be the sane one, and that usually causes even more trouble.

Interesting. I did watch the pilot and didn't like it, which is what I did with the Neighbors. (Actually I think I turned the Neighbors off half-way through, and at least watched all of the Goldbergs). Since we seemed to have the same reaction to both pilots, I think I will try this one... esp because I am off for the next two weeks and we're getting into re-run season.

The Goldberg is such an unexpected funny show, wanted to hate the show as a played out 80s premise
what a surprise great funny show, the older brother is incredilble, its great to see George Segal back in good form, and love seeing Wendy McLendon every week.
Great show, its become my 3rd after The Neighbors, The Middle & now The Golbergs
Like others have said, they way I felt about Neigbors last year I feel about Goldbergs this year
Any fan on Neigbors should check out this show

Just checking back in. I did go back and watch several episodes of the show, although oddly, only part of season one is on Huluplus. And I see what you mean. It is pretty funny ... or I'm good and bored after being off for two weeks with hardly any new shows on . Good to know, because I like to have a balance of sitcoms and drama on the dvr, depending on my mood. Thanks for the recommendation.

Tried watching the Goldbergs twice and didn't like it. I thought I would like which is why I gave it a second chance.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

No...that big head guy makes me think of Fred Flinstone.
